Dear marching band member and parent,
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with information concerning the Apex Christmas Parade this Saturday as well as several “end of calendar year” events.
Volunteers interested in chaperoning these events can visit the sign up HEREHERE.
Listed below is the schedule that we will follow for the evening:
APEX CHRISTMAS PARADE
Saturday, December 7, 2024
3:00pm Report to ADHS (Dress, add lights to uniform/instruments, load)
3:30pm Inspection
3:45pm Depart for Apex (via activity buses)
4:15pm Arrive at parade drop-off site
5:00pm Parade begins (we are in the middle)
5:45pm Anticipated step-off
7:15pm Return to ADHS
The Apex Christmas Parade is somewhat unique in that it is held in the evening. Parading at night through this charming town—with all its store lights and decorations aglow—is really COOL. Our students love to march in this parade, and we hope that you will consider coming out and enjoying the atmosphere!
The parade route begins on the corner of Apex Peakway and Salem streets, passes through the downtown area, and finishes at W. Moore Street. The entire route is about 1 mile in length. Additional parade information can be found at apexrotary@gmail.com.

12/17 Jazz Ensemble performs at Waverly Place center stage 5:30-6:30pm
12/19 Grand Holiday Concert 7:00pm (Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble)
12/22 TUBACHRISTMAS at St. Andrews Church in Apex (afternoon)
