What an awesome week we have had! There’s been no need to “Weather the Weather” (so far) – it’s been a glorious week. The students have worked so hard and are very excited to show you all they have achieved so far.
It’s astonishing to think they only started putting this all together 5 days ago – you will be amazed to see just how far they have come.

FRIDAY NIGHT DETAILS:
The ENTIRE band will march to the field ready to perform at 7pm. Please plan to arrive on campus after 6pm and please note there’s no seating at the field so be sure to bring a chair (& bug spray!)
We are located at Wesleyan College, Rocky Mount and will perform on the practice field at the south side of campus, which is visible from Route 301 (drive into campus, turn left at the fountain).

AFTER THE PERFORMANCE:
Students will be dismissed to retrieve their luggage and go home (& sleep!!)

Your children have come so far this week – please make sure they know how proud you are of them. There has been such a great display of camaraderie and the students have been supporting each other throughout the band camp journey. It’s not just music and movement they have learnt – but each day they learn life lessons that this wonderful band program provides. They will certainly be looking forward to sleeping in their own beds, eating their favorite foods and simply enjoying all their home comforts. Enjoy your weekend.
