Hi Band Families –

As you may have heard by now, we have postponed our annual Fall BBQ so as not to conflict with the Jag Club’s Homecoming event on October 11th which will also feature BBQ.

We’ve rescheduled for Friday, November 1st, which is now also a teacher workday. There’s no football game that night, so, hopefully, this date will work out well for many of you and we’re looking forward to it!

The event will be held at the same location as last year: Swift Creek Community Center, off Yates Mill Pond Rd.

We’ll need many volunteers and any help is greatly appreciated. Our sign-up link will be coming out this week, so keep an eye out for that.

We’re still in need of BBQ cookers/grills, so if you have one or can borrow one, please let us know ASAP! Also, if you’re able to help coordinate our presales to local businesses, ADHS teachers (since it’s a workday), and other area schools, please also reach out and let us know. Other volunteer opportunities will also be available, and we need you to be successful!
