Hello Band Families!

The purpose of this email is to update you on a change to our 2021-22 Booster Board and to encourage you to attend our first booster meeting of the new year.

At the end of this year’s marching season, co-president Ashley Peay-Bettini made the difficult decision to resign from her position on the board. Due to the demands of her teaching career, she felt it was best to step away from her role as president. We are grateful to Ashley for the many contributions she has made to the band and the booster organization and look forward to her continued involvement as a booster parent and volunteer.

As per our by-laws, the board has selected a new co-president to fill the remainder or Ashley’s term. Zofia Pruchnik has graciously agreed to serve through May 2023. She has contributed to the band through a variety of volunteer roles and will be a wonderful addition to the board as president.

Please join us in welcoming Zofia to this new role by attending our first booster meeting of 2022 on Thursday, February 10th at 7:30 in the band room. Mark your calendar! We will have a report on class band and extracurricular activities from Doc and will catch everyone up on booster events for the new semester. ALL parents are invited – class band, winter guard, winter percussion, jazz band, and/or marching band.
