Can you believe Marching Band Season is less than 3 weeks away?? Making life long friends, feelings of pride as you watch your freshman student march down Jaguar Park drive for their first football game, amazing music, wowing us at all the competitions!!! This is what we have to look forward to in the next few months!! Can’t wait!

Your first opportunity to get a glimpse of this year’s program is coming up July 22-25. We need parents who are willing to chaperone Pre-Camp practices. This is such a pleasant way to serve the band. Bring your lawn chair and a water bottle and watch this year’s marching band take shape. We need percussion parents to chaperone from 1:45 – 5pm and then we need parents from winds, guard and percussion to chaperone from 6:15-10:00. You just need to report to the band hallway to find out where the kids will be practicing. Don’t forget to register as a volunteer with Wake County if you plan to chaperone. It only takes 5 minutes and can be done at a Wake County School library.

PLEASE NOTE – there is a “parent pre-camp meeting/booster fair” being held on July 23rd at 6.45pm, so if you are a new band parent or just want to attend this event, please avoid signing up for this time slot. Thanks.
