There were no “Monday Morning Blues” today…..apart from the Red White & Blues of the Chaperones in their ‘Merica Monday spirit wear (or as our rogue Brit termed it – Patriotic Day)!
Other spirit wear themes were in full force at the College – including the Battery’s Crazy Socks, the Guard’s Matching Monday, & the Tenor Sax’s Boxer Shorts day, to name just a few!
So whilst it was officially day 2 – it was really only our 1st full day of camp & the students were AWESOME! Their energy levels & enthusiasm were off the chart – matched as always by Doc’s!
The newly renovated dining hall has got the thumbs up from all & every meal time was buzzing with high spirits & animated conversations…..plus it provided the essential refueling for all our hard workers. After a long day & evening of tremendous efforts working on our drills, there were more team games tonight, followed by ice cream & popsicle treats…..& hopefully now a good night’s rest!
As for “weather the weather”……well a little cloud cover provided some welcome shade this morning but suffice to say the whole day had a very bright outlook!
