“Hump day” came and went but the enthusiasm remained “sky high”.
Today the “Weather the Weather” was either hot or hot & humid, but with plenty of “gush & goes” (that’s extra drink breaks!), the practices continued to produce amazing results.
Mr Mares reached out to Doc to share some thoughts on his visit last night, which were very meaningful and encouraging. He talked of the camaraderie, love, and support the students displayed, and how the inclusivity of the program inspired him and warmed his heart! How wonderful to know that our Principal is “fired up” for the upcoming MB season.
Wednesday evening brought more than one visitor – it is a favorite night of Band Camp week as family, friends & even a few alumni came to watch our evening rehearsals…..& boy! did they get a treat!
It was the 1st time all 127 students performed together this week and from the taster we got, WOW! What a show we have for you all!
Although there wasn’t much time to spend with the students, a few words, a smile & even a hug was a great boost for the families and their students before the evening activities began.
So at the end of hump day it’s hard to believe there are only 2 more sleeps left! but also 2 incredibly busy days!
