Hi Band Families!

Our inaugural Dewey’s Bakery Fundraiser Store officially opens this Saturday, but you can get a sneak peek at our Band Family Open House this Friday. We will be open for business from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, so stop by and check things out! In addition to all the yummy treats in the store, we will be taking pre-orders for freshly made pies, cake rolls, breads and pastries. We will pick these up from the Dewey’s Bakery in Winston-Salem and bring them to the store just in time for your Thanksgiving gathering.

We have finished training sessions for volunteers. If you are signed up to work a shift and were unable to attend a training session, please email us at deweys@athensdriveband.com ASAP so we may find a time to prepare you before you work . If you do not receive training before you’re signed up, your shift may be forfeited to someone who has. Keep your eye on the signup for additional shifts to be added. Once we’ve been open for about two weeks and can gauge how sales are going, we’ll be able to better determine what we need. Extra shifts will likely be on weekends and maybe some evenings.

As this is our first year and we’re figured things out as we go, we will do our best to communicate new information and reminders to volunteers through signup on a weekly basis, so if you’re signed up watch for those emails.
