Hello band families!
Wow! We were amazed at the positive response to the Dewey’s store sign up! The current shifts are almost all taken. Remember that once the store is open and we’ve studied our sales trends we will determine dates where additional shifts will be needed. These additional shifts will be posted before Thanksgiving, so stay tuned.
Alumni Day shifts are currently locked while we contact our alumni group to give them an opportunity to help us out where we’re spread thin and to benefit the scholarship fund. Once they’ve had a chance to fill these slots, we’ll open them again for current band families.
If you’ve signed up for a shift, remember to review the presentation on the website for basic information about working the store (Training Step 1). We’ll send out Step 2 of the training information later in the month. Around the same time, we’ll also post on-site training dates on for you to select from to complete your training. These will likely take place in the last week of October and first week of November.
