Next Thursday, October 17th, members of our Wind Ensemble will “kick-off” our concert series with a “Chamber Concert” held in the CAFETERIA at 7:00pm.

In this program the band will not be performing as a single entity (as we do at our other concerts); rather, this concert will feature the small ensembles which comprise our bands (e.g. flute choir, trumpet choir, percussion ensemble).  In addition, our boosters will be serving refreshments (e.g. coffee, “Dewey’s” cookies, etc.) DURING the performance.  This is a NEW venture for us that I thought would add nice variety to our concert season.  Another NEW aspect of this performance is that it will be relatively “short & sweet,” lasting only about an hour!

Please note that we will NOT have marching band rehearsal on this day!  Members of our symphonic band and concert band who attend will receive EXTRA CREDIT!  Please come and support your older classmates and enjoy some goodies as well!
