This month we have only one PARCC opportunity event (for non-TIPS Certified) for the band families. Please note: There are over 122 shifts available for those who are TIPS Certified. TIPS certified means you have completed TIPS training and are certified to serve alcohol to the attendees of an event. If you are interested in being TIPS certified (2 hour training course at Raleigh Convention Center), please contact the PARCC coordinator at parcc@athensdriveband.com).
In February, Centerplate is willing to allow a 16 year or older work with their parent at the event listed below. If your 16 year old or older is comfortable with handling money, then this is a great opportunity for you to make money for the band account. For example, if you and your student did Saturday, February 2 – Hall B (concessions) from 6 am – 2:30 pm (17 hours total for you and your student and you get $136 to the band account). This is a very quick and fast way to pay off your account or work on next year’s account For more information on PARCC, please visit: PARCC (Performing Arts and Raleigh Convention Center) and Red Hat Amphitheater – Athens Drive High School Band
