Dear marching band student and parent,
I hope that you have been able to enjoy a beautiful Labor Day weekend! How about that Athens Drive WIN against Cary last Friday!!! What a game! We are 3-0 the first time that I can remember in my 30 years at Athens! Keeping our fingers crossed for more victories!
The purpose of this letter is to provide information concerning our THIRD HOME FOOTBALL GAME this Friday and a NEW OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM for recruiting purposes!

- 5:30pm Report to ADHS band room
- 5:50pm Warm-up in front (library) parking area
- 6:20pm Walk to staging area
- 6:35pm March to stadium
- 6:45pm Pregame
- 7:00pm Game begins
- 7:50pm Halftime performance
- 9:45pm Dismissal (at flagpole near gym entrance)
*Percussion and tuba captain(s) must arrange to have their instrument stands placed in the bleachers before the reporting time.
Students are to wear their BLUE SHOW T-SHIRT, BAND CAP, shorts, socks and tennis shoes. They must also bring a their BAND BACKPACK to carry a water bottle, flip folder with pep band music, lyre, and snack if they do not wish to purchase any from our concessions. Our concession stand will be open during the 3rd quarter where the students may purchase drinks/snacks following their performance.
