Hello Band Families!
We’re halfway through this year’s Fruit and Nut sale. All students in class band and marching band received their Fruit and Nut packets the week of October 21st. If you haven’t seen it yet, please ask your student. For every item you sell, some money goes to your individual account and some goes to the band’s general fund. Historically, students have raised anywhere from $10 to $100 for their accounts with this sale, so while you’ve got a couple of lighter weeks between competitions and parades pound the pavement while the weather is still good!
Orders are due back the week of November 18th. We’d love to have them all in by that Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.
Delivery day is Friday, December 13th. Pick up your orders after school in the band hallway and deliver them to your customers over the weekend.
We will need about a dozen volunteers on Delivery Day in shifts from 7 am to 6 pm. A signup will go out closer to the date. Check your calendar to see if you can help for part of the day.
