On behalf of all the Band Boosters let us say “Welcome aboard – we are so glad you are here!”

Marching band (which includes color guard) is a fun, but very busy activity. There is so much to learn about what it takes to produce an award-winning show and to understand the work the students are doing. Incoming band members get a great deal of attention and guidance from other students, so we’d like to provide this same attention and guidance to our new band parents.

The mentor program is specifically targeted at the families of the students in Marching Band (including Color Guard), but we’d like to reach out to all the families of all the areas our Booster organization supports such as concert band, wind ensemble, symphonic band, jazz band, winter guard, winter percussion, band contests, etc. We are fortunate to have a great deal of information to share, events to attend, fundraisers to participate in and programs to enjoy. To make sure each new family has an understanding of these programs and a friendly face to help them explore and participate in these programs we will be assigned a mentor to each new family.

New Parents: Expect to hear from your mentor family in June.

Veteran Parents: If you are interested in becoming a mentor to a new family, please contact the coordinator listed above.
