Dear band members and parents,

Our band has been asked to provide a “pep band” for the rising 9th grade orientation held at Athens Drive tomorrow evening.  The event will be held in the auditorium and we will be performing for a captive group of rising 9th graders and their parents.

With the long weekend that we have just enjoyed, all of this is happening FAST–so I thought a note to everyone would be best.

Any band member who would like to play is invited… we’ll be playing a few of our standard pep tunes and our Fight Song.

I would especially like our rising seniors (section leaders/captains) to try to perform as RECRUITING IS ONE OF YOUR MOST IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITIES.  Our band cannot thrive without new members and we need YOU to help attract these youngsters into our band family!
