Hi Band family!

With pre-camp and band camp coming up soon, it’s time to get our practice field in shape! We are having a work day and need 10-15 volunteers (can be both supervised band students and parents) to help out. With enough people we should be able to knock it all out before it gets too hot!

When: Saturday July 17th at 8AM (rain date Sunday 7/18 at 8AM)

What to bring: Weed trimmers, leaf blowers, work gloves and water

We’ll be working to:

1. Blow off any remaining tall grass clippings (grass will already be cut)

2. Measure and mark practice field lines/numbers

3. Weed/trim around all poles

4. Look for and treat for ants

I would also like to put a field committee together and build out a mowing/field marking schedule, so please consider that as well and let me know if you have any interest!
