Hello Band Families!
We have an annual tradition within our band community to help families celebrate having a senior in marching band. It’s the ultimate “shout-out” in the form of a Senior Button! Proud pops, moms, and guardians are given these special keepsakes to wear at football games and competitions. Imagine a hand-crafted, one of kind, Go Jags! – orange and blue decorated, button that has the photo of your one of kind senior!
To make it happen, we usually ask senior families to NOT participate so our freshman, sophomore and junior parents can surprise them instead. However, it is a fun night of crafting, snacking and laughing…so if you are a parent of senior and you don’t want to miss this fun night – you can still be surprised by NOT creating your own senior button and working on someone else’s instead 🙂
Rather than send an overly large group Evite to the entire Band Yahoo list, I would like to ask instead if anyone is interested. Please reply if this is you!
