Hello band families! My husband and I will be taking orders for show shirts at band camp this year. Typically, we take orders before and after the student performance on Friday evening at band camp. This year, however, scheduling has required that we change things up a bit.
When?? We will set up tables outside both the boys’ and girls’ dormitory on Sunday, July 29th beginning at 12:45. Please stop by at some point during drop off and order your shirts at that time if at all possible. We will stay as long as needed to ensure everyone has a chance to order.
How much are they?? Show shirts are $15.00 each. We will also be selling the “I Survived Band Camp” shirts. I am not sure of the price at the moment but it should be between $10-$12.00. These items cannot be added to your band account. You can bring cash or check when you order them, or pay me when you pick up. 🙂
How do I know what size to get?? We have a variety of sizes to choose from and will have them available at drop off if you need to try one on. There will not be extras for exchanging afterwards, so be sure you get the size you need. Of course, we don’t want to spoil the big reveal so they will be inside out and covered! 😉
Why buy a show shirt?? Your kids will automatically get one show shirt during band camp. However, many parents love the option of purchasing an extra so they don’t have to scramble to wash a shirt between a Friday night football game and a Saturday competition. It’s also nice to have one “in reserve” in case it gets misplaced as the shirt is part of uniform. Also, many parents and other family members love to have one to wear to the games and competitions to show their support!
Will I get another opportunity to buy one?? I will also be set up at band camp pickup on Friday, August 3rd, but it may only be at the END of the performance due to an earlier obligation. After that, I will leave ordering via email open for a few days, but that’s it. Unfortunately, this is a one time order so it is your only chance to get one.
