Dear Band Families!
We are only 8 days away to the NC State Fair….and just over half of our shifts are filled!!! In order for this fundraiser to reach its full potential, we need every spot filled!
Do the shift times not exactly jive with your schedule? Let’s get creative…split the shift with a partner! As long as the shift credit is applied to a single account, you are welcome to buddy up! Does your employer offer community service leave? Take a few hours off of work and enjoy the sights and sounds of the State Fair. I promise you…it’s fun!
At this point, our greatest need is weekday days and Friday/Saturday nights.
Although no students are allowed to work this fundraiser, you can still do your part to participate. Feel free to recruit a grandparent, a college-aged sibling, friends or even alumni band members/parents to participate. The best thing is…you get the credit towards your student’s band account.
Weekday shifts are now paying $40 and weekend shifts are $50. If you take into account your Fundraising Service Credits, you could earn up to $85 per weekend shift!!!
If you want to learn more about this fundraiser, please join us for an on-site information session this Sunday, 10/10 @ 3PM. This session will take place at Gregory Poole Equipment Company. (4807 Beryl Rd, Raleigh, NC 27606).
We will be reviewing some important information regarding this fundraiser and will be walking the property so that you can be familiar with the location.
Cancellation Policy: At least 3 days notice prior to your shift or $40 will be charged to your band account.
