Winter Percussion wanted to share some exciting news. If you didn’t hear the news on Thursday night at the Grand Holiday Concert, we are proud to inform you that we have new sponsors for Winter Percussion. We are extremely thankful to Lane & Associates Family Dentistry for being our main sponsor this season. Their location at Cary Parkway and Tryon Rd. 6480 Tryon Rd in Cary, offers many different services and they would “love to make you smile”. Our 2 other sponsors for this season are The Original NY Pizza– Tyron Rd. & Cary Parkway & Sam Ash Music on Capital Blvd. These generous sponsorships will go towards the operating costs for Winter Percussion. We also have had a generous donation of services from North State Signs & Printing. The owner, Cyrus Gill, a band student in his early years, has graciously said he would provide his services of logo printing, in exchange for positive feedback and share his business on Instagram & Facebook. Lastly, we are keeping the beat with our GoFundMe “Drumming Up Dollars For Dayton”. As of Sunday, we have already raised almost $2500. The monies raised from this fundraiser will ease the individual cost for each student to go on the trip to perform and compete in the World Championships in Dayton, OH in April 2019. Thank you to all of you who have donated already. There is still time to donate so please consider making your tax-deductible donation today to help us reach our goal of $10,000.
The Winter Percussion students are also helping themselves get to Dayton by participating in a candy fundraiser and doing a great job selling “World’s Finest Chocolate” bars. In just 3 days they have already sold over $700 worth of chocolate! These students are AMAZING!
