Our most urgent need is for fruit delivery days, December 11th and 12th.
If you are concerned about extra people in the space, please be advised that we have changed the set up and it will be a safe work environment.
On pick up day, fruit will be taken out to cars, so there will not be large numbers of people entering the store.
Please note – customer traffic has been slower and less predictable this year. If you sign up for an overlap or third slot on a shift, you may leave early if business is slow.
Safety:
Our experience of safety has been very positive. Customers have been courteous and compliant, and we have not exceeded capacity at any point. Volunteers have also been courteous and compliant with safety protocols and have erred on the side of caution, notifying us of any potential concerns in advance of their shifts and making cautious decisions about attendance. We continue to monitor the Covid situation, staying informed on current guidelines and reassessing our procedures to maintain the safest environment possible for both volunteers and customers.
