STATE FAIR PARKING FUNDRAISER

The most wonderful time of the year is finally here! It’s time for the NC State Fair (October 16-26)! We have the opportunity to collect money for cars to park in the Gregory Poole Parking lots during the evening and weekend hours of the NC State Fair. We provide security for employee parking lots during weekday work hours – keeping fairgoers out of employee lots.

Please sign up to work shifts at our State Fair Parking fundraiser. It is such an important fundraiser for both your personal band accounts and the General Fund.

Some important things to remember:

You must be 18+ to work this fundraiser. No high school students even if 18.
First come, first served! Spots will fill up quickly!! You may sign up for as many shifts as you like!
Please provide your phone number upon signing up. We will be using the Band App for communication the day of/during your shift.
Weekday shifts earn $50 per shift, Weekend shifts earn $75 per shift.
Don’t forget! If you have not already met your Volunteer Plan Bonus…You earn an additional $175 for completing your 5 shifts.
If you have not worked this fundraiser in previous years, please do not sign up for a lead role.
Please wear comfortable shoes, dress for October in NC (LAYERS!!), bring a chair, water, snack and, most importantly, a positive attitude! 🙂
Mandatory on site training 10/12 at 2:00 PM – Everyone must sign up and attend this training.
